Inserting batteries Insert the two supplied R6 (size AA) batteries, matching the polarities shown below. - Subwoofer (MHC-GPX88 only) Notes • Do not mix an old battery with a new one or mix different types of batteries. • If you do not use the remote control for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid damage from battery leakage and corrosion. Attaching the speaker pads (LBT-GPX77/MHC-GPX88/GPX77 only) The speaker pads are pre-installed in vertical position to stabilize the speakers and to prevent them from slipping. If you want to place the speakers in horizontal positioning (page 13), attach the supplied speaker pads to the bottom of the speakers as shown below. - Front speaker Positioning the speakers To obtain optimum performance from the system, we recommend you to place the speakers as shown below.
