Adjust the headphone volume. 43 When using the controls on the deck Use the CD player controls located to the left of the front panel. When using the remote Z Set SELECT to CD. Audio output Output switches automatically to the audio of the CD. 1 Turn on the amplifier and set the source selector to the position for this deck. 2 Press 1/u. The STANDBY indicator turns off. 3 Press any DISC 1 - 5 § and place a CD on the disc tray. Press the button again to close the CD tray. When you play an 8-cm CD, place it on the inner circle of the tray. z You can start playing with the track selected in Step 4 1 Turn AMS (or press = or +) to select the track you want to play using the display*. 2 Press AMS or ·. * See "Using the Display" on page 12. z You can remove and load CDs while playing another CD Press any DISC 1 - 5 § other than the CD that is currently playing to open that tray, and remove or load the CD. 6 With the label side up 4 Press ·. The deck starts playing. Adjust the volume on the amplifier. To Do the following: Stop playing Press p. Pause playing Press P. Press the button again or press · to resume playing. Go to the next track Turn AMS clockwise (or press + on the remote). Go to the beginning of the Turn AMS counterclockwise (or press = on the current track or the remote). preceding track Take out the CD Press one of DISC 1 - 5 § to open the tray that contains the CD you want to remove after stopping playing.
