The headphones equipped with the noise canceling function detect ambient noise using the built-in microphone and output antiphase sound to reduce the noise. This reduces unwanted ambient noise, especially in a vehicle such as an airplane, train or bus, allowing you to enjoy music even at a low volume. Waveform of noise (original sound) ( ) The microphone built into the headphones picks up ambient noise, then the noise canceling circuit analyzes the signal of the noise. Waveform of antiphase sound ( ) Antiphase sound that cancels out the analyzed noise is generated. Waveform of composed and canceled noise ( ) The original and antiphase sound combine to cancel out the original sound, reducing noise at the eardrums.
