You need to install an online music service app in advance. Check the service guide for the provider you use. Each service provider has different downloading procedures, compatible file formats, and payment methods. Note that the provider may choose to suspend or terminate the service without notice. 1 Turn on the Wi-Fi function to connect the player to the internet. 2 Swipe the [WALKMAN Home] screen upwards, and then tap [Play Store]. 3 Search for the desired app. 4 Follow the onscreen instructions to install the app. 5 Launch the app. If necessary, follow the instructions from the provider to register an account, select a payment method, and so on. 6 Purchase music content. 7 On the library screen in "Music player", tap (Update database). Note The destination for music downloads differs depending on the online music service. If content is not in one of the following folders, the content will not appear in the library of "Music player". Purchasing music content from online music services by using the player
If you connect the player to a Wi-Fi network, you can purchase music content from online music services. You need to
install an online music service app in advance.
Check the service guide for the provider you use. Each service provider has different downloading procedures,
compatible file formats, and payment methods. Note that the provider may choose to suspend or terminate the service
without notice.
Note
The destination for music downloads differs depending on the online music service. If content is not in one of the following
folders, the content will not appear in the library of “Music player”.
[Music] folder in the memory of the player
[Download] folder in the memory of the player
[Music] folder on the microSD card
In this case, use the [Files] app to move the content to one of the folders listed above.
