Additional Information No video is output from the HDMI OUT jack. • The HDMI OUT jack of the player outputs blue signal in the NTSC system only. It does not output any other video signal. No sound is heard, and "Unmatched Sink" appears on the display. • The component connected to the HDMI OUT jack cannot receive the output signal of Super Audio CDs. Connect the component to the ANALOG OUT jacks. The TIME/TEXT, MULTI/2CH, SA-CD/CD buttons on the player do not light up. • The TIME/TEXT, MULTI/2CH, SA-CD/CD buttons do not light up. The states of these button settings are shown on the display window. No sound is heard, and "Press Stop" appears on the display. • When the player is in the HDMI ON mode, if you connect the player and the amplifier while you are playing back a Super Audio CD, sound may not be output. Stop playback once, then start playback again. No sound is heard, and "Connected DVI" appears on the display. • If a DVI connection is made to the HDMI OUT jack, no sound will be output. Connect the player to an HDMI component that comply with audio input. After you have attempted the prescribed corrective actions If the player still does not operate properly, or if other problems not described above occur, turn off the player, unplug it from the power outlet for a few minutes, then reinsert the plug into the power outlet. Note When you turn on the power of the player, you may hear a rattling sound from inside the player. This is because the player is determining the type of disc or making adjustments, and does not indicate a malfunction of the player.
