English At temperatures above +70 °F (+20 °C) FS 460 2 3 5 3BA019 KN 2 N Remove the screw (3) from the shutter. N Pull the shutter (2) out of the shroud. N Rotate the shutter (2) from the summer position to the winter position and refit it. N Secure the shutter in position with the screw (3). At temperatures between +50 °F (+10 °C) and +70 °F (+20 °C) The machine can normally be operated in this temperature range with the shutter (2) in the summer position. Change the position of the shutter if necessary. 9926BA017 KN 2 N Always return the shutter (2) to the summer position. NOTICE Do not operate the machine in the winter position at temperatures above +70 °F (+20 °C) because there is otherwise a risk of engine running problems and overheating. At temperatures below +14 °F (-10 °C) In extreme wintry conditions - Temperatures below +14 °F (-10 °C) - Powder or drifting snow it is advisable to use the optional "cover plate kit". 9926BA018 KN 4 FS 490 2 5 2709BA019 KN 4 The cover plate kit contains the following parts for converting the power tool: 4 Cover plate partially blanks off the slots in the starter housing 5 Air filter with synthetic fabric element - Instructions for converting the machine After installing the cover plate kit: N Set the shutter (2) to the winter position. At temperatures above +14 °F (-10 °C) N Remove the parts of the cover plate kit and refit the standard parts for summer operation.
