Cover for Battery Compartment In some markets the machine comes with a cover for the battery compartment. N Store indoors in a dry and safe location. Keep out of the reach of children and other unauthorized persons and protected from contamination. N Do not store spare batteries unused - use in rotation. To optimize the life of the battery, store it at a state of charge of about 30%. Storing the Charger Maintaining the Mowing Head Placing Power Tool on the Ground N Move the retaining latch to ƒ and remove the battery. N Remove the battery. N Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet. N Store the charger indoors in a dry and secure location. Keep out of the reach of children and other unauthorized persons and protected from contamination. N Position your power tool so that the cutting attachment mounting face is pointing up. Replacing Nylon Line Always check the mowing head for signs of wear before replacing the nylon line. WARNING If there are signs of serious wear, replace the complete mowing head. The nylon mowing line is referred to as "nylon line" or "line" in the following. The mowing head is supplied with illustrated instructions for replacing the nylon line.
