Maintenance and Care The following intervals apply to normal operating conditions only. If your daily working time is longer or operating conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.), shorten the specified intervals accordingly. Complete machine Visual inspection (condition, leaks) Clean X X X Control handle Check operation X X Air filter Clean Replace Pickup body in fuel tank Check Replace Fuel tank Clean Carburetor Check idle adjustment - chain must not rotate X X Readjust idle Spark plug Adjust electrode gap Replace after every 100 operating hours Visual inspection X Cooling inlets Clean Valve clearance Check and, if necessary, have adjusted by dealer after first 139 hours of operation1) Combustion chamber Decoke after first 139 hours of operation, then every 150 hours of operation Check X Spark arresting screen in muffler Clean or replace All accessible screws and nuts (not adjusting screws) Retighten Antivibration elements Check X Have replaced by dealer1) HT 100, HT 101, HT 130, HT 131 before starting work after finishing work or daily after each refueling stop weekly monthly every 12 months if problem if damaged if required English X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X 41
