Restore a Data Backup Hyper Backup allows you to recover your directory once errors occur to Synology Directory Server. You can also migrate Synology Directory service to another Synology NAS via service restoration in Hyper Backup. 1. Launch Hyper Backup. 2. Click on the upper-left corner, and select Data to launch the restoration wizard. 3. Select a backup task to restore. 4. You will be prompted to select system configurations, different versions of backup data, or more. It depends on which type of backup task you want to restore. 5. If the backup task is encrypted, you will need the password/encryption key for successful restoration. 6. Follow the wizard to complete the restoration.
