When to Replace the Batteries When the batteries run down and are no longer able to operate the QY70, the sound may become distorted and the following display will appear: When this display appears, replace the batteries with a complete set of six new batteries. NEVER mix old and new batteries! s CAUTION! • To prevent possible damage due to battery leakage, remove the batteries from the instrument if it is not to be used for an extended period of time. 10
