SET MENU 11 D-RANGE (dynamic range) Use this feature to adjust the dynamic range. This setting is effective only when this unit decodes Dolby Digital signals. 11 D-RANGE ≥ SP: MAX STD MIN HP: MAX STD MIN MAX Select the "MAX" setting for feature films. STD Select the "STD" (Standard) setting for general use. MIN Select the "MIN" setting for listening to sources at extremely low volume levels. 12 SP DELAY TIME Use this feature to adjust the delay of the Center and the Rear Center channel sounds. This feature works when this unit decodes DTS or Dolby Digital signals. Ideally, the Center speaker and the Rear Center speaker should be the same distance from the main listening position as the left and right Main speakers. However, in most home situations, the Center speaker or the Rear Center speaker is placed in line with the Main speakers or the Rear speakers. By delaying the sound from the Center speaker and the Rear Center speaker, the apparent distance from the Center speaker and the Rear Center speaker to the main listening position can be adjusted to make it seem the same as the distance between the left and right Main speaker, and the left and right Rear speakers to the listening position. Adjusting the delay time for the Center speaker is especially important for giving depth to the dialogue. SP DELAY TIME
Use this feature to adjust the delay of the Center and the
Rear Center channel sounds. This feature works when this
unit decodes DTS or Dolby Digital signals. Ideally, the
Center speaker and the Rear Center speaker should be the
same distance from the main listening position as the left
and right Main speakers. However, in most home
situations, the Center speaker or the Rear Center speaker
