s Volume is low. • Is volume or expression set too low in the part control? • Are the velocity sense settings in the part edit made incorrectly? • Is the MIDI volume information not being received? s Distorted sound/weak sound on the A/D input • Is the input source selected correctly? (→ P. 35) s No effects applied at all. • Has send/return been raised sufficiently? s Effects not applied to some parts • Has the send level been raised sufficiently for each of the parts or drum part instruments? s The tone is strange • Are the bank select/program change settings made correctly? s The pitch is strange. • Are the master tune, transpose and note shift settings correct? s Interruptions in the sound • Has the maximum polyphony limit of 64 voices been exceeded? (→ P. 23) Keep in mind that when one channel is specified for multiple parts, all the multiple parts will begin playing simultaneously with one Key On. s MIDI bulk data is not being received correctly • Is the device number specification correct? • Was the dump interval time set too short when the data was saved? 44
