CHAPTER 35 Email Notification 35.1 Email Notification Overview A mail server is an application or a computer that can receive, forward and deliver email messages. To have the Zyxel Device send reports, logs or notifications via email, you must specify an email server and the email addresses of the sender and receiver. 35.2 Email Notification Settings Click Maintenance > Email Notification to open the Email Notification screen. Use this screen to view, remove and add Email account information on the Zyxel Device. This account can be set to receive email notifications for logs. Note: The default port number of the mail server is 25. Figure 174 Maintenance > Email Notification The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 131 Maintenance > Email Notification LABEL DESCRIPTION Add New e-mail Click this button to create a new entry. Mail Server Address This field displays the server name or the IP address of the mail server. Username This field displays the user name of the sender's mail account.
