CHAPTER 28 Maintenance 28.1 Overview When the Zyxel Device is set to work in cloud mode, the Maintenance screens let you mange shell script files on the Zyxel Device, generate a diagnostic file, or view log messages. See Chapter 19 on page 205 for information about shell scripts. 28.1.1 What You Can Do in this Chapter • The Shell Script screen (Section 28.2 on page 233) stores, names, downloads, and uploads shell script files. • The Diagnostics screen (Section 28.3 on page 234) generates a file containing the Zyxel Device's configuration and diagnostic information if you need to provide it to customer support during troubleshooting. • The Log > View Log screen (Section 28.4 on page 235) displays the Zyxel Device's current log messages when it is disconnected from the NCC. 28.2 Shell Script Use shell script files to have the Zyxel Device use commands that you specify. Use a text editor to create the shell script files. They must use a ".zysh" filename extension. Click Maintenance > Shell Script to open this screen. Use the Shell Script screen to store, name, download, and upload shell script files. You can store multiple shell script files on the Zyxel Device at the same time.
