Adjusting the Front Passenger Seat Manually In the front seats, you can move the whole seat forward or backward or tilt the back of the seat forward or backward. To move the seat forward or backward: 1. 2. 3. 4. Find the adjustment bar underneath the front part of the seat. Lift the bar to unlatch the seat. Move the seat to the desired position.
