Specifying the Unit Configuration To select the desired RAID configuration 1 Press Enter in the RAID Configuration field to display the available RAID levels for the number of drives you selected. To enable or disable write cache and set striping size The write cache and striping size parameters depend on the type of RAID level you selected. Note: You can enable or disable the write cache again later without affecting the configuration. However, you cannot change the stripe size later without reconfiguring the unit. 1 Use the arrow keys or press Tab to move to the field Array's Write Cache State. 2 Select whether you want the write cache to be enabled or disabled for this unit. The default is for write cache to be enabled.
