Receiving and Tuning to an Alert Whenever a stored sports team, artist, or song is playing on another channel, an interruption ALERT appears on the unit display. To tune to the game, artist or song identified by the alert, follow the steps below: 1 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired game, artist or song from the list of active alerts. 2 Press ENTER. Notes • If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the unit returns to normal mode. • Sports teams/Artist name and Song title which you have stored and which are currently playing will be displayed in a category called "MY GAMES"/"MY MUSIC" in search mode. For details, refer to "Search Function" on page 48. • When an artist or song alert occurs, you may press k to change the information as below. Artist name*/Song name* Channel number/Channel name Artist name/Song name * Depending on the alert type, the display order for Artist name or Song name will be reversed. • When a GameAlert™ occurs, you may press k to change the information as below. Team name/League name Channel number/Channel name Team name/League name Search Function You can search for SiriusXM programming content by Channel, Category etc. Searching by Channel 1 Enter Search mode and turn the Rotary encoder to select ALL CHANS. Press ENTER. All Channels will be displayed in a list. 2 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired channel, and then press ENTER to confirm. Note • Press k, the information of the broadcasting channels will be displayed. You can choose the desired channel from the artist name list or song name list. Each time you press k, the display changes as below. Channel number Channel name Artist name Song name Content Info Channel number Searching by Category 1 Enter SEARCH mode by pressing ENTER while in the SiriusXM mode. 2 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired Category, and then press ENTER. 3 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired Channel Name, and then press ENTER. Note • During Category search, pressing or to select another Category. Searching by My Music 1 Enter Search mode and turn the Rotary encoder to select MY MUSIC*. Press ENTER. The artist names and song names that you have stored and are currently playing will be displayed in a list. * Displayed only when the stored song or artist is broadcasting. 2 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired artist/song, and then press ENTER to confirm. The channel of the selected artist/song being broadcast is now playing. Note • Press k, the information of the broadcasting channels will be displayed. You can choose the desired channel from the artist name list or song name list. Each time you press k, the display changes as below. Artist name*/Song name* Channel number/Channel name Content Info Artist name/Song name * Depending on the alert type, the display order for Artist name or Song name will be reversed. Searching by My Games 1 Enter Search mode and turn the Rotary encoder to select MY GAMES*. Press ENTER. The sport teams that you have stored and the game which is currently broadcasting will be displayed in a list. * Displayed only when the game of stored team is broadcasting. 2 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired team, and then press ENTER to confirm. The channel of the selected game being broadcast is now playing. Note • Press k, the information of the broadcasting channels will be displayed. Each time you press k, the display changes as below. Team name/League name channel number/channel name Content Info Team name/League name Searching by Featured Favorites™ Featured Favorites™ are groups of channels that are created by the SiriusXM Programming department allowing you to discover new channels. Featured Favorites™ channels are dynamic and can change often, allowing you to discover new channels. 1 Enter Search mode and turn the Rotary encoder to select FEATURED*. Press /ENTER. The Banks that SXM recommends will be displayed in a list, and the recommended Banks will be displayed with an "l" before the Bank name. * Only displayed when connected with SiriusXM Tuner-SXV200 or later. 2 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired Bank, and then press /ENTER. 3 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired channel, and then press /ENTER to confirm. 48-EN
