2. Push down two fasteners at a time in a diagonal sequence to secure the heatsink and fan B assembly in place. A A A B B B A 3. Connect the CPU fan cable to the connector on the motherboard labeled CPU_FAN1/CPU_FAN2. R P5LD-MR CPU_FAN1 CPU_FAN2 GND CPU FAN PWR CPU FAN IN CPU FAN PWM CPU FAN PWM CPU FAN IN CPU FAN PWR GND P5LD-MR CPU Fan Connectors • Do not forget to connect the CPU fan connector! Hardware monitoring errors can occur if you fail to plug this connector. • If there is only one CPU fan cable, connect it to the connector labeled CPU_FAN1. Failure to do so may cause hardware monitoring errors. • Before connecting the CPU fan cables, select the appropriate jumper settings for 3 pin or 4 pin CPU fan connectors.
