4. BIOS SETUP 4.5.1 Power Up Control 4. BIOS SETUP Power Menu AC PWR Loss Restart [Disabled] This allows you to set whether you want your system to reboot after the power has been interrupted. [Disabled] leaves your system off. [Previous State] reverts your system to the same state before the power interruption. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Previous State] Wake/Power Up On Ext. Modem [Disabled] This allows either settings of [Enabled] or [Disabled] for powering up the computer when the external modem receives a call. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] NOTE: The computer cannot receive or transmit data until the computer and applications are fully running. Thus, connection cannot be made on the first try. Turning an external modem off and then back on while the computer is off causes an initialization string that turns the system power on. Onboard LAN Power Up [Disabled] Power Up on PCI Card [Disabled] These fields allow you to boot your computer from another computer by sending a wake-up frame or signal to the LAN device, or the PCI modem card if present.
