For information on replacing the remote control batteries, see "Install the batteries" on page 14. Cleaning the controller Use only a soft cloth to clean the outside of the Companion controller. Do not use any solvents, chemicals, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives. Do not allow liquids to spill into any openings. Do not use any sprays near the system. Cleaning the speakers andbass module Clean the surface of your speakers with a soft damp cloth. Do not use any sprays near the system. The speaker grille panels require no special care, although you may vacuum them carefully with a soft-bristled attachment, if necessary. Warranty period The Bose° Companion satellite surround sound system is covered by a limited 1-year transferable warranty.
