STANDARD ADJUSTMENTS 1954S 1955S Loosen the nut (2) and move thread trimmer rod L (3) to the left or right to adjust so that the V section A of the movable knife (1) is aligned with the index mark B on the needle plate when the machine is at the stop position. ■ Replacing the movable and fixed knives 1956S 1957S 1. Remove the screws (1) and the feed plate (2). Then tear off the auxiliary plate sheet (3). Remove screws (4) and (5), and needle plate (6). Replacing the movable and fixed knives
1. Remove the screws (1) and the feed plate (2). Then tear off the auxiliary plate sheet (3). Remove screws (4) and (5),
and needle plate (6).
