Configuring your machine for a wireless network Configuring your machine when the SSID is not broadcast 3 (For MFC-J2510/J4510DW) 3 a Before configuring your machine we recommend you write down your wireless network settings. You will need this information before you continue with the configuration. Check and record the current wireless network settings. 3 SSID (Network Name): Communication Mode Infrastructure Authentication method Open system Shared key WPA/WPA2-PSK 1 TKIP is supported for WPA-PSK only. Encryption mode WEP NONE WEP AES TKIP 1 For example: SSID (Network Name): HELLO Network key - Communication Mode Infrastructure Authentication method Encryption mode WPA2-PSK AES Network key 12345678 NOTE If your access point/router uses WEP encryption, enter the key used as the first WEP key. Your Brother machine supports the use of the first WEP key only. b Press . c Press All Settings. d Press Network. e Press WLAN. f Press Setup Wizard. g When Switch Network interface to wireless? is displayed, press Yes to accept. This will start the wireless setup wizard. To cancel, press No. 20
