Chapter 6 Maintenance Recharging the Battery Pack When fully charged, the optional NiCd rechargeable battery pack can operate up to 40 Minutes. To maintain optimum performance, the battery pack should always be completely exhausted (see next page), before any recharging is done. Otherwise, the battery life will become shorter. 1 To Recharge it, make sure the battery pack is switched on. 2 Turn off the Printer. While holding down the ON LINE switch, turn on the printer. 3 The POWER indicator starts flashing, indicating the battery pack is being recharged.
