5 Live View Shooting You can shoot while viewing a real-time image on the camera's LCD monitor or on a personal computer screen. This is called "Live View shooting." Using a hard disk-type card is not recommended. Use a memory card. When you use Live View shooting for a long period, the camera's internal temperature may increase and it can degrade image quality. Terminate Live View shooting when not shooting images. For a long exposure, stop Live View shooting temporarily and wait several minutes before shooting. If the < > (warning for high temperature in the camera) icon is displayed, terminate Live View shooting. With a hard-disk type card in the camera, if Live View shooting continues while the < > icon is displayed, the Live View might stop automatically. Live View shooting will be disabled until the camera's internal temperature decreases. 109
