What Can I Do with This Machine? Power Supply - During electrical storms, turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord from the power outlet. If power is suddenly lost due to an outage or accidental unplugging, a built-in battery retains the user data settings and the speed dialing settings. Any sent or received documents stored in memory are backed up for about 3 hours. - Whenever you unplug the power cord, wait at least five seconds before you plug it in again. - Do not plug the power cord into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This product emits low level magnetic flux. If you use a cardiac pacemaker and feel abnormalities, please move away from this product and consult your doctor. Customer Support (U.S.A.)
