Manage Disk Space You can configure various settings in order to manage Storage Server disk space. Change the Destination of the Recording File and the Maximum Disk Usage 4 Specify a drive for recording or change the maximum disk usage. By default, the maximum disk usage is set to [Do not limit]. 1 Select the appropriate Storage Server, click [Settings] > [Storage Server], and display the [Storage Server] tab in the [Settings] dialog box. 2 Click [Edit]. The [Storage Server Settings] dialog box is displayed. System Management With RM Manager 3 Clear the check boxes next to the drives that should not be used for recording. 4 Specify the maximum disk usage. Click [Do not limit] for each drive to display the maximum disk usage. Select [Maximum Disk Space Used] and specify a maximum disk usage that does not exceed the total disk capacity. Important • It is recommended that you do not specify the system drive (typically the C drive) as the destination for the recording file. • You cannot specify a drive that has a capacity of less than 1GB. 5 Click [OK]. The [Storage Server Settings] dialog box closes and settings are saved. 63

You can configure various settings in order to manage Storage Server disk space.
Change the Destination of the Recording File and the Maximum Disk
Usage
Specify a drive for recording or change the maximum disk usage. By default, the maximum disk usage is set to [Do not
limit].
The [Storage Server Settings] dialog box is displayed.
Click [Do not limit] for each drive to display the maximum disk usage.
Select [Maximum Disk Space Used] and specify a maximum disk usage that does not exceed the total disk
capacity.
The [Storage Server Settings] dialog box closes and settings are saved.
