Important • The following character restrictions apply to the password: • Set the password by using 4 to 32 characters. • The allowed characters are single-byte alphanumeric characters, blank space, umlaut characters, and the below symbols. • For security reasons, we recommend you use 8 and more alphanumeric characters. 9. Use the buttons to select Apply and press OK button. 10. Enter administrator password you specified again. Pressing the OK button displays the input screen. After you finished entering the administrator password on the password input screen, use the buttons to select Apply and press the OK button. The administrator password is enabled. When You Want to Disable the Administrator Password: After operating in the following order on the printer's operation panel, follow the on-screen instructions to remove the administrator password.
