Troubleshooting 28 C H A P T E R This chapter describes how to identify and resolve software problems related to the IOS software. Depending on the nature of the problem, you can use the command-line interface (CLI) or the Cluster Management Suite (CMS) to identify and solve problems. To identify and resolve Cisco-approved Course Wave Division Multiplexer (CWDM) Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) problems, you must have the enhanced software image (EI) installed on your switch. Note For complete syntax and usage information for the commands used in this chapter, refer to the command reference for this release and the Cisco IOS Command Summary for Release 12.1.
