Table C-2 Continued Command Description &Tn Test Command Selection. AT&Tn selects one of eight test commands. Parameters: n = 0, 1, 3, 6 n = 0 Terminates any test in progress n = 1 Initiates local analog loopback. If a call is in progress, an error message is returned n = 3 Local digital loopback test n = 6 Remote digital loopback test. To work properly, both modems must be on-line with error control disabled. &V View Current Configuration. AT&V displays the current configuration of S registers and commands. &W Store Current Configuration. &W stores certain command options and S-register values into the modem's nonvolatile memory. This profile is restored on an ATZ command or a power- up reset. &Zn Store Telephone Number. &Zn stores up to four dialing strings in the modem's nonvolatile memory for later dialing. The format for the command is &Zn="stored number", where n is the location 0 - 3 to which the number may be written. The dial string may contain up to 40 characters. ATDS=n dials using the string stored in location n. \Nn Error Control Mode. AT\Nn selects the protocol used by the modem when sending or receiving data. Parameters: n = 0 - 4 n = 0 Buffer mode (no error control) n = 1 Direct mode (no error control) n = 2 MNP (Microcom Networking Protocol) or disconnect n = 3 V.42, MNP, or buffer mode (default) n = 4 V.42 or disconnect \Qn Local Flow Control Selection. Parameters: n = 0, 1, 3 n = 0 Disable flow control n = 1 XON/XOFF software flow control n = 3 RTS/CTS to DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) \Vn Protocol Result Code. AT\Vn selects display of protocol connection.
