Security Antivirus Software When you use the notebook for e-mail, network, or Internet access, you expose the notebook to computer viruses. Computer viruses can disable your operating system, applications, or utilities or cause them to function abnormally. Antivirus software can detect most viruses, destroy them, and in most cases, repair damage they have caused. To protect your notebook against viruses, it is recommended that you use antivirus software. To provide protection against newly discovered viruses, the antivirus software must be updated. Antivirus Software
When you use the notebook for e-mail, network, or Internet
access, you expose the notebook to computer viruses. Computer
viruses can disable your operating system, applications, or
utilities or cause them to function abnormally. Antivirus software
can detect most viruses, destroy them, and in most cases, repair
damage they have caused.
To protect your notebook against viruses, it is recommended that
you use antivirus software. To provide protection against newly
discovered viruses, the antivirus software must be updated.
Norton AntiVirus is preinstalled on the notebook. For more
