Security To ensure the highest security and prevent unauthorized usage of DCS-1000W the Administrator has the exclusive privilege to access System Administration setting to allow users the security level of entry and authorize privileges for all users. The DCS-1000W supports multi-level password protection/access to the DCS-1000W that can be restricted to defined users who has a "User Name" and "User Password" which is assigned by the Administrator. The administrator can release a public user name and password so when remote users access DCS-1000W they will have the right to view the image transmitted by DCS-1000W. Note: When the DCS-1000W is used for the first time it is highly recommended that the Administrator set the "Admin ID" and "Admin Password" to constrain user access to the DCS-1000W since the Default settings are Null String (no password). Once the ID and Password are defined only the Administrator has the access to management DCS-1000W. This procedure should be done as soon as possible since the security features with DCS-1000W will not be enabled until the "Admin ID" and "Admin Password" is defined. 11
