NOTE: Some ExpressCards may not operate correctly after the Tablet-PC exits hibernate mode. Remove and reinsert the card (see "Removing an ExpressCard" on page 91), or simply restart (reboot) your Tablet-PC. To Exit Hibernate Mode To exit hibernate mode, press the power button. The Tablet-PC may take a short time to exit hibernate mode. You cannot make the Tablet-PC exit hibernate mode by pressing a key or touching the touch pad or track stick. Configuring Power Management Settings You can use the QuickSet Power Management Wizard or Windows Power Options Properties to configure the power management settings on your Tablet-PC. For more information about QuickSet, right-click the QuickSet icon in the Windows Notification area and click Help. Accessing Power Options Properties • Click the Windows Power icon in the Notification area to display the Power icon pop-up window. • Select one of the following from the Select a Power Plan section: • Dell Recommended • Power Saver • High Performance • Any custom power plan you have created • To access additional power options, click More Power Options at the bottom of the pop-up. Charging the Main Battery When you connect the Tablet-PC to an electrical outlet or install a battery while the Tablet-PC is connected to an electrical outlet, the Tablet-PC checks the battery charge and temperature. Configuring Power Management Settings
