Configuring the router 17 Make sure that you remove existing PPPoE client software installed on your computers. To configure PPPoE: 1 Access the Configuration menu by following the instructions in To access the Web-based configuration utility: on page 13. 2 Click the WAN button. The WAN Settings screen opens. 3 Click PPPoE, then enter the following settings, as appropriate: Field Dynamic PPPoE Static PPPoE User Name Password Retype Password Service Name Description Click this if you receive an IP address automatically from your ISP. Click this if you have an assigned (static) IP Address. Your PPPoE username provided by your ISP. Your PPPoE password. Re-enter the PPPoE password The Service Name provided by your ISP (optional).

Make sure that you remove existing PPPoE client software installed on your
computers.
To configure PPPoE:

Configuration

Click the
WAN
button. The
WAN Settings
screen opens.

Click
PPPoE
, then enter the following settings, as appropriate:
Field
Description
Dynamic PPPoE
Click this if you receive an IP address automatically from your ISP.
Static PPPoE
Click this if you have an assigned (static) IP Address.
User Name
Your PPPoE username provided by your ISP.
Password
Your PPPoE password.
Retype Password
Re-enter the PPPoE password
Service Name
The Service Name provided by your ISP (optional).
