50 Configuring your computers Checking your computer's IP address The wireless adapter-equipped computers in your network must be in the same IP address range (for additional information, see Network Settings on page 7.) This section shows you how to check your computer's IP address using Microsoft Windows XP. To check your computer's IP address: 1 From the Windows Desktop, right-click the Local Area Network icon in the taskbar. 2 Click Status. The Wireless Network Connection x Status screen opens. 3 Click the Support tab to view the IP address information. 4 Click Close to exit.

Checking your computer’s IP address
The wireless adapter-equipped computers in your network must be in the same
IP address range (for additional information, see Network Settings on page 7.)
This section shows you how to check your computer’s IP address using Microsoft
Windows XP.
To check your computer’s IP address:

From the Windows Desktop, right-click the
Local Area Network
icon in the
taskbar.

Click
Status.
The
Wireless Network Connection x Status
screen opens.

Click the
Support
tab to view the IP address information.

to exit.
