Configuring the router 33 Tools CONFIGURING THE ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS Use this page to change the system passwords. The two accounts that can access the router's Web management interface are admin and user. Admin has read/ write access, while user has read-only access. A user can only view the settings but cannot make any changes. To configure administrator settings: 1 Access the Configuration menu by following the instructions in To access the Web-based configuration utility: on page 13. 2 Click the Tools tab, then the Admin button. The Administrator Settings screen opens. 3 Enter the following, as appropriate: Field Description New Password (Administrator) The new administrator password. Confirm Password Re-enter the new administrator password to confirm. (Administrator) New Password (User) The new user password. Confirm Password Re-enter the new user password to confirm. (User)

Use this page to change the system passwords. The two accounts that can access
