CONFIGURING MAC FILTERS Use MAC filters to allow or deny LAN computers access to the network, based on their MAC addresses. You can either manually add a MAC address or select the MAC address from the list of clients that are currently connected to the broadband router. To configure MAC filtering: 1 Access the Configuration menu by following the instructions in To access the Web-based configuration utility: on page 13. 2 Click the Advanced tab, then the Filters button. The Filters screen opens. 3 Click MAC Filters, then click one of the following: • Disable MAC filters • Only allow computers with MAC addresses listed below to access the network • Only deny computers with MAC addresses listed below to access the network
