Group Field Description Capacity Device Type Select the device type, Fast Class (FC), Near Line (NL), or Solid State Device (SSD). The capacity and capacity usage of the selected device type is displayed in graphical form. Logical Select to display logical capacity. Raw Select to display raw capacity. Virtual Volume Allocation Displays the allocation of the volume's admin, copy, and user space. Thinly Provisioned Savings Displays the amount of space saved through thinly provisioned virtual volumes. (Base Volumes) History Creation Date The volume's creation date. Retention Time The volume's retention time, if any. Expiration Time The volume's expiration date, if any. Copy Space Calculation The date on which the volume's copy space was calculated. Date Comments Any comments about the volume. Remote Copy (displayed RC Status only for RC volumes) RC Group The volume's Remote Copy status. The Remote Copy group to which the volume belongs. Sync State The sync state of the remote copy (e.g., Synced, Stopped). Writable LUNs Indicates if the LUN is writable from the host. Settings Tab The following information is displayed in the detail pane's Settings tab: Group User Space Provisioning Field Provisioning CPG Allocation Warning Allocation Limit Description Indicates if the selected volume is fully provisioned or a thinly provisioned virtual volume. The name of the Common Provisioning Group (CPG) from which user space is provisioned. If enabled, the allocation warning percentage. If enabled, the allocation limit. 160 Viewing Virtual Volumes
