movepdtospare DESCRIPTION The movepdtospare command moves data from specified Physical Disks (PDs) to a temporary location selected by the system. SYNTAX movepdtospare [options] ... AUTHORITY • Super, Service, Edit • Any role granted the pd_movetospare right. NOTE: You need access to all domains in order to run this command. OPTIONS -nowait Specifies that the command returns before the operation is completed. -dr Specifies that the operation is a dry run. No PDs are actually moved. -devtype Permits the moves to happen to different device types. -vacate Makes the moves permanent, removes source tags after relocation. -f Specifies that the command is forced. If this option is not used, the command requires confirmation before proceeding with its operation. SPECIFIERS ... Specifies the PD ID. This specifier can be repeated to move multiple PDs. RESTRICTIONS Access to all domains is required to run this command.
