stoprcopygroup DESCRIPTION The stoprcopygroup command stops the Remote Copy functionality for the specified Remote Copy volume group. SYNTAX stoprcopygroup [option ] |... AUTHORITY Super, Edit Any role granted the rcopygroup_stop right. OPTIONS -nosnap In synchronous mode, this option turns off the creation of snapshots. This is useful if removercopygroup is to be run to remove Remote Copy. In asynchronous periodic mode, this option deletes any current synchronization snapshots. -t Indicates that only the group on the specified target is stopped. If this option is not used, by default, the stoprcopygroup command will affect all of a group's targets. -f Specifies that the command is forced. If this option is not used, the command requires confirmation before proceeding with its operation. -pat Specifies that specified patterns are treated as glob-style patterns and all Remote Copy groups matching the specified pattern will be stopped. The -pat option can specify a list of patterns. By default, confirmation is required to proceed with the command unless the -f option is specified. This option must be used if the specifier is used. SPECIFIERS The name of the Remote Copy volume group to stop. Specifies a glob-style pattern. This specifier can be repeated to stop multiple groups. If the specifier is not used, the specifier must be used. RESTRICTIONS This command requires the HP 3PAR Remote Copy Software license. Contact your local service provider for more information. EXAMPLES The following example stops Remote Copy for Group1: # stoprcopygroup Group1 636 Stop Commands
