Troubleshooting Table 6-8 Informational Codes (Continued) Event code Event code name Description 0x689 Sector Reconstructed On a read from a RAID-1 mirrored pair, a corrupted sector was reconstructed. 0x68A 0x68B 0x68C 0x68D Uncorrectable Parity Sector Uncorrectable Data Sector Hard Read Checksum Error Soft Read Checksum Error A hard error on a parity sector could not be corrected. A hard error on a data sector could not be corrected. A hard checksum error was detected on a data transfer from the host. A soft checksum error was detected on a data transfer from the host. 0x68E Inconsistent Stripe Inconsistent write or time stamps were detected in a RAID group. 0x68F 0x690 Inconsistent Time Stamps Drive Failed Inconsistent time stamps were detected in a RAID group on a verify. A disk module was shut down. 0x691 0x692 Checksum Error on Device Read Incoherent Stripe A checksum error was detected on a read from an individual disk. No data transfer was involved. Data and parity in a RAID group were inconsistent. 0x693 Uncorrectable Stripe Inconsistent write or time stamps in a RAID group could not be corrected. 0x694 0x695 Parity Invalidated Uncorrectable Sector Parity in a RAID group has been invalidated. An uncorrectable sector was detected on a RAID-1 mirrored pair. 0x696 0x6CA 0x6CB 0x6CC Mirror Sector Invalidated Front End Fibre Loop Bad Front End Fibre Initiator Gone Front End Fibre Link Down A sector on a RAID-1 mirrored pair was invalidated on a rebuild. The Fibre Channel front end has gone off line due to the receipt of an unexpected loop event. The SP attempted to communicate with an initiator that has ceased responding.
