Table 6-11 Fatal Error Codes Event code Event code name Description 0xA02 0xA05 0xA06 0xA07 Failed SCSI Bus NOVRAM Uninitialized Chassis Shutdown Drive Failure An internal SCSI bus failed and all disk modules on that bus are inaccessible by the SP. The CRU number displayed corresponds to the bus number. The failure resulted from a bad cable or cable connection, bad terminator, bad SCSI chip on an SP or a bad device. The nonvolatile memory on this SP is uninitialized. The SP has reinitialized the memory to its default state, but the SP must be rebooted to be operational. An overtemperature situation could not be corrected. All disk modules in the chassis will be shut down. The problem must be corrected before powering up again. The disk drive has failed and can no longer be accessed. 0xA08 0xA09 0xA11 0xA12 0xA13 Data Base Sync Error The SP cannot determine the correct logical configuration of all units in this disk array. Some units may be unusable. Drive Too Small A replacement drive, which does not have adequate capacity for a rebuild operation to begin, has been inserted. Peer Controller Removed This SP's peer is no longer responding to this SP's queries following a period of time when the peer was known present. Cache Memory Hard Error This SP, which is operating in nonmirrored caching mode, has detected an unrecoverable memory fault in its cache memory area. This error does not apply to a disk array with two SPs. CRU Type Unsupported This type of disk module is not supported by the SP microcode. The disk module cannot be bound or used for host I/Os.
