Special media for printing This device supports printing on special media. Envelopes ● Store envelopes flat. ● Envelopes should not be wrinkled, nicked, stuck together, or otherwise damaged. Do not use envelopes that have clasps, snaps, windows, coated linings, self-stick adhesives, or other synthetic materials. ● Only use envelopes where the seam extends all the way to the corner of the envelope as indicated in the following illustration. 1 Acceptable 2 Unacceptable ● Envelopes that contain a peel-off adhesive strip or more than one flap that folds over to seal must use adhesives that are compatible with the heat and pressure in the fuser. CAUTION: Failure to follow these guidelines can result in jams. Labels When selecting labels, consider the quality of each component: ● Only use labels that have no exposed backing between them. ● Labels must lie flat. ● Do not use labels that have wrinkles or bubbles, or are damaged. ● Use only full sheets of labels. This device does not support printing on partial sheets of labels. Envelopes
