Verifying IP ACL Configurations Configuring IP ACLs Note Some configuration parameters when applied to an EtherChannel are not reflected on the configuration of the member ports. Procedure Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Command or Action switch# configure terminal Purpose Enters configuration mode. switch(config)# interface {ethernet [chassis/]slot/port | port-channel channel-number} Enters interface configuration mode for the specified interface. switch(config-if)# {ip port access-group | Applies an IPv4 or IPv6 ACL to the interface or ipv6 port traffic-filter} access-list in EtherChannel. Only inbound filtering is supported with port ACLs. You can apply one port ACL to an interface. switch# show running-config (Optional) Displays ACL configuration. switch# copy running-config startup-config (Optional) Copies the running configuration to the startup configuration. Verifying IP ACL Configurations To display IP ACL configuration information, perform one of the following tasks: Procedure Step 1 Command or Action switch# show running-config Step 2 switch# show running-config interface Purpose Displays ACL configuration, including IP ACL configuration and interfaces that IP ACLs are applied to. Displays the configuration of an interface to which you have applied an ACL. For detailed information about the fields in the output from these commands, refer to the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Command Reference. Displaying and Clearing IP ACL Statistics Use the show ip access-lists and show ipv6 access-list commands to display statistics about an IP ACL, including the number of packets that have matched each rule.
