General tab Table 5-2 HP Embedded Web Server General tab Menu Description Alerts Control Panel Administration Menu Setup email alerts for various product and supplies events. Shows the menu structure of the Administration menu on the control panel. AutoSend Edit Other Links Ordering Information Device Information Language Date and Time Energy Settings NOTE: Configure settings on this screen, or the HP Embedded Web Server provides more advanced configuration options than are available through the Administration menu. Configure the product to send automated emails regarding product configuration and supplies to specific email addresses. Add or customize a link to another Web site. This link displays in the Other Links area on all HP Embedded Web Server pages. Enter information about ordering replacement toner cartridges. This information displays on the supplies status page. Name the product and assign an asset number to it. Enter the name of the primary contact who will receive information about the product. Set the language in which to display the HP Embedded Web Server information. Set the date and time or synchronize with a network time server. Set or edit a wake time, sleep time, and sleep delay for the product. Set a different schedule for each day of the week and for holidays. Backup and Restore Restore Factory Settings Solution Installer Firmware Upgrade Statistics Services Set which interactions with the product cause it to wake from sleep mode. Create a backup file that contains product and user data. If necessary, use this file to restore data to the product. Restore product settings to the factory defaults. Install third-party software programs that can enhance the product functionality. Download and install product firmware upgrade files. Provides connection information about third-party job-statistics services. Enable or disable the ability to store jobs in the product memory. Adjust Paper Types Restrict Color Configure job-storage options. Override the factory-default mode settings if print quality problems occur when using a specific paper type. Permit or restrict color printing.
