Speakers Description Speaker cover: For use only with computer models in dark umber and steel gray finish For use only with computer models in butter gold, espresso black, linen white, Pacific blue, pearl pink, ruby red, and Sonoma red finish Speaker Kit (includes left and right speakers and cable) Spare part number 641438-001 640443-001 640449-001 Before removing the speakers, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50), and then remove the following components: ● Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 51) ● Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 54) ● Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 61) ● Top cover (see Top cover on page 65) ● System board (see System board on page 78) Remove the speakers: 1. Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

), and then remove the following components:
