Appendix Message Cause/Solution Error 16: Invalid R_A_TOV The value entered for the resource allocation time-out value is invalid. The R_A_TOV is entered in tenths of a second and must be an integer in the range 10-1200 (1 second to 120 seconds). The R_A_TOV value must be larger than the E_D_TOV value. Enter a value in the range 10-1200. Error 17: Invalid E_D_TOV The value entered for the error detect time-out value is invalid. The E_D_TOV is entered in tenths of a second and must be an integer in the range 2-600 (0.2 second to 60 seconds). The E_D_TOV value must be smaller than the R_A_TOV value. Enter a value in the range 2-600. Error 18: Invalid TOV The value entered for the time-out value is invalid. Enter a value in the time-out value range. Error 20: Invalid Preferred Domain ID The value entered for the preferred domain ID for the director or switch is invalid. The preferred domain ID must be an integer in the range 1-31. Enter a value in the range 1-31. Error 21: Invalid Switch Priority The value entered for the switch priority is invalid. The switch priority entered for the director or switch must be principal, default, or neverprincipal (see config.switch.priority on p. 41). Error 22: Invalid Class 2 VC Error 23: Invalid Class 3 VC Error 29: Invalid Gateway Address The value entered for the gateway address is invalid. The new gateway address for the Ethernet interface must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 0.0.0.0). Enter the gateway address for your Ethernet interface in the dotted decimal format. Error 30: Invalid IP Address Error 31: Invalid Subnet Mask The value entered for the IP address for the director or switch is invalid. The IP address must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 10.0.0.0). Enter the IP address for the director or switch in dotted decimal format. The value entered for the new subnet mask for the Ethernet interface is invalid. The subnet mask must be entered in dotted decimal format (for example, 255.0.0.0).
