FEATURES ON/OFF SWITCH The on/off switch is used in combination with the starter grip and rope to start the generator. It is also used to turn the generator off. RESET BUTTON The reset button is used to restore power if an overload occurs. To restore power, remove all loads and depress the reset button. STARTER GRIP AND ROPE The starter grip and rope is used (along with the on/off switch) to start the generator's engine. VENTED FUEL CAP The generator has a fuel cap with a vent that can be opened and closed. During normal operation the vent should be in the ON (I) position. ASSEMBLY UNPACKING This product has been shipped completely assembled. n Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. WARNING: Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or damaged. Use of a product that is not properly and completely assembled could result in serious personal injury. n Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. n Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product. n If any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-800-242-4672 for assistance.
