Controls on 9-in. monochrome display Cash drawers The cash drawers are similar in size to the system unit and open toward the front. The types of cash drawers are the full-size cash drawer that fits wide system units (see Figure 107), and the compact cash drawer (see Figure 108 on page 105) that fits narrow systems. The cash drawers can serve as the base for the terminal in an integrated arrangement or they can be placed separately in a distributed arrangement. An optional lock permits them to open under an application program control or with a key. Figure 107.
