4 OPERATION s Filter setting When an optional filter is installed, set the optional filters in initial set mode. Optional filters are not selected by default. (p. 33) D Optional filter setting q While pushing and holding [SET], push [PWR] to enter initial set mode. w Push [UP Y] or [Z DN] several times until "FIL" appears on the display. e Rotate the channel selector to select the installed filter. • "no," "52A," "53A," "96," "222" and "257" indicate no optional filter, FL-52A, FL-53A, FL-96, FL-222 and FL-257, respectively for 455 kHz IF filter selection. r Push [PWR] for 1 sec. to exit initial set mode. D Expanded filter selection The selectable filter combinations can be expanded by setting the expanded filter selection to ON.
