Using the Setup Program APM Submenu To access this menu, select Power on the menu bar, then APM. Maintenance Main Advanced Security Power APM ACPI Boot Exit The submenu represented in Table 24 is for setting the APM features. Table 24. Feature Power Management Inactivity Timer APM Submenu Options • Disabled • Enabled (default) • Off • 1 Minute • 5 Minutes • 10 Minutes • 20 Minutes (default) • 30 Minutes • 60 Minutes • 120 Minutes Specifies the amount of time before the computer enters APM standby mode. Description Enables or disables the APM feature. Hard Drive • Disabled • Enabled (default) Enables power management for hard disks during APM standby mode.
